Can't afford an Airwrap? My favorite alternative multi-styler just got even more affordable for Prime Day

I've tested plenty of hair gadgets in my role as one of TechRadar's Homes Editors, and my favorite affordable multi-styler, the Shark FlexStyle, is even better value right now. In the US, the build-your-own-bundle FlexStyle is $229.99 (was ~~$299.99~~) at Shark.

In the UK, the best deal is at Amazon, where the FlexStyle is down to £179.99 (was ~~£249.99~~), but if you miss that limited-time deal, you can grab a build-your-own-bundle for £199.99 (was ~~£269.99~~) at Shark.

You can use the FlexStyle as a hair dryer, twisting the top section to a right angle for comfortable and convenient use, or add an attachment to turn it into a different kind of styling tool. The auto-wrap barrels create curls without the extreme heat of traditional tongs, and you could also use a brush attachment for a bouncy blowout style, for instance. (Note: there are a few curl barrel variations floating around, but these all work the same.)

There's £70 off the FlexStyle in the Prime Day sale, matching the lowest price I have on record for this model. It includes the all-important auto-wrap curl barrels, two brush attachments, and a concentrator, plus the dryer part. It's a versatile multi-styler and a strong alternative to the far pricier Dyson Airwrap. The above deal is due to expire in a matter of hours. If you miss it, the next-best option I've found is the 'build your own' FlexStyle for £199.99 (was £269.99) at Shark.

If you feel like treating yourself, though, nothing I've used is quite as good as the Dyson Airwrap i.d. – and there are some very strong Airwrap discounts about this Prime Day. It's still a big investment, even with those deals, and if you're on a tighter budget or just want something for occasional use, the FlexStyle will still be a great choice for many people.
