It's warming up in the US, so running outside is going to be much less miserable in the upcoming months. If you want to experiment with some top new running tech and finally get into bone conduction headphones, you can get the excellent Shokz OpenRun Pro at Amazon for $124.95 (was $159.95).
This isn't the lowest price we've seen for the OpenRun Pro, but it is the second-cheapest. It's still worth highlighting, especially for outdoor runners who want to try bone conduction for the first time.
Today's best bone conduction headphones deal
The Shokz OpenRun Pro are the first-generation model of the manufacturer's excellent bone conduction headphones. As the predecessor to some of the best bone conduction and running headphones, they're missing the upgrades in the new OpenRun Pro 2 (mainly less battery life), but they still offer enough that make them worth the discounted price.
The OpenRun Pro is an upgraded version of the standard OpenRun bone conduction headphones from Shokz. In our Shokz OpenRun Pro review, we praised the "greatly improved sound" over the OpenRun and physical improvements like the "larger, easier to use controls." These take the strengths of the OpenRun, including its lightweight and comfortable design, and add convenient features like quick charge, too.
Even though the second-generation model is currently our top pick for the best bone conduction headphones for running and is at the very top of our best running headphones list, we can still recommend the first-gen model — especially at this discounted price.
Shokz is the maker of some of our best open-ear headphones, running headphones, and more. If you're curious about the newer Pro 2, I'd read our OpenRun Pro 2 review to see how it compares.
