I've been tirelessly scanning through today's 'Spring Deal Days' sale at Amazon, and I don't think there's a better deal going right now than the DJI Mini 4K drone for £189 (was £269).
This drone was already a great value, but today's price smashes the previous record-low (£229) by quite a wide margin. It's a great opportunity to pick up a model that we still rank at number one on our best budget drone buyer's guide.
In short, if you’re looking for an easy way to get started with drones, the Mini 4K is a great place to begin. Weighing just 249g, it’s incredibly lightweight and portable, yet still manages to offer up to 31 minutes of flight time, a control range of around 10km, and crisp 4K video capture. Features like Level 5 wind resistance and a three-axis gimbal also help keep your footage smooth and stable, even when conditions aren’t perfect.
The drone is particularly approachable for newcomers thanks to the DJI Fly app, which includes handy tools such as one-tap takeoff and an automatic return-to-home function. One thing to note, however, is that the Mini 4K doesn’t feature obstacle avoidance, so it’s best to fly cautiously (especially while you’re still getting used to the controls).
DJI Mini 4K drone deal at Amazon
The excellent DJI Mini 4K has just hit its lowest ever price over at Amazon, giving beginner drone pilots the perfect opportunity to pick up one of our favourite models. Alongside excellent 4K footage, the Mini 4K also boasts 31 minutes of flight time, a useful 2x digital zoom, and a three-axis gimbal for smooth video capture.
A powerful drone, despite its size and price
The price included above is for the standard DJI Mini 4K package, which includes the drone, one battery, and a controller. If you're looking to maximise flight time (and value), you could also consider getting the 2-battery combo for £229 (was £329). That tends to be cheaper than buying the accessories separately, so it's definitely a good option overall. Annoyingly, the two-battery Fly More combo is already all sold out, so it's probably worth picking this one up sooner rather than later if you're interested.
