We've now got our hands on the new white Nexus 4, and we've taken some lovely shots of it to show you, well, that it's definitely a different colour.

Compared to the original Nexus 4, the new version brings, well, not a lot else other than being in a new colour. However as you can see, the glittery back is used once again, after it was ditched following a redesign of the original.

The design does ape the LG Optimus G, which has the same mottled and shimmering back, and makes it feel more like a phone that comes from the South Korean brand.

The white Nexus 4 also packs those two tiny nipples on the back, allowing the phone to be slightly raised when it's placed on its back, so the speaker isn't flush to the surface and is now much improved in audio terms.

We also got our hands on the new bumper being offered with the white Nexus 4 - it's a snug fit that really does give some added protection with lumping in a lot of heft to the device.

The silver band around the edge adds a more premium sheen to the device, and the spaces are large enough to happily allow you to connect headphones or charging devices, as well as keeping the back free for shimmering tasks and wireless charging. Whichever is most important to you.

White Nexus 4

We'll be honest here - it's the same phone as we've talked about in the rest of the review. Except it white. Want the Nexus 4 but not in black? Buy it in white...it will be on sale in June for most of the world.
