With summer and Amazon Prime Day in full swing, you might be in the middle of weighing up what can actually fit in your suitcase for your next holiday — and if you are, I've found some great portable beauty-tech deals that could make that decision easier.

From a foldable hair dryer to a silicon LED face mask that can easily slide into the lining of your suitcase, I've made sure this round-up of beauty tech deals is filled with only devices that are light, transportable, and USB-C charged.

I haven't tried all of these products myself, but other members of the TechRadar team have, and they can confirm that they're worthwhile investments. For example, Josephine Watson is a big fan of light-therapy devices, particularly the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask for $149.99 (was $249) at Amazon in the US.

If you're in the UK, the best saving I've found is on the Ulike Air 10 IPL at Amazon, where it's £246.99 (was £399.99). I've been using this myself, and it's a huge saving compared to going to the salon for expensive laser hair-removal treatments. You won't be able to go out in the sun after using it, but if you're on a longer trip it's light enough to pack in your luggage.

I've also snuck in few more gadgets that aren't strictly beauty tech, like the Oura Ring 4 for wellness tracking, and some earplugs — traveling can be be a noisy affair, so anything that can help you block out sound is useful.

Growing up in Australia meant that if I wanted to visit family overseas I had to prepare for a grueling 24-hour flight, confined to a seat for much of the time; and while that was fine when my legs were shorter, it's no longer the most thrilling experience. These gadgets won't make economy class glamorous, but they will make it a bit more bearable.

Despite its small size and lightweight build, the Dreame Pocket Pro hair dryer features a high-speed motor that can majorly cut down the time it takes for hair to dry. I've only just started using this IPL hair removal device, and I'm already seeing results. If you're considering hair removal, then it's worth looking into an at-home device such as this, as it's significantly cheaper than the hundreds of dollars you'll spend at a salon. It's also very transportable; just remember to stay out of the sun after a treatment.

I'm not sure how I feel about smart rings, but our Fitness Editor, Matt Evans, is a big fan of the Oura Ring 4. Traveling can be very noisy and disruptive, from the train's rumbles to your temporary accommodation's neighbors, there's a lot you might want to block out. I've heard good things about Loop earplugs, with people who've tried them reporting that they're very comfortable, so if you're considering trying them out, this record-low price is a good way in.

The upgraded version of the Dreame Pocket isn't on sale this Prime Day in the UK, but the original is! It has a range of heat options, ranging from cold to hot, to help it be kinder to various hair types and to prevent any unwanted burning. We gave it four stars in our Dreame Pocket hair dryer review.

If you're going on holiday, this travel-friendly light-therapy device is ideal if you're only able to take a small carry-on bag with you. Weighing just 201g, it won't take up too space, which is perfect if you still want to keep up your LED light-therapy treatments while away from home.

If you have a bit more space to pack a few more essentials on your next holiday, then Nanoleaf's LED mask is ideal. It charges via USB-C, so you won't have to worry about the voltage in different countries. Its flexible silicone form also means you can pack it away neatly, so it doesn't take up too much space. Full disclosure: I haven't used this device myself, but I have used Nanoleaf's 6-in-1 Light Therapy Wand, and I love the cooling and heating modes, especially the former for reducing puffiness. I also own one of Therabody's massage guns, which I always take with me if I'm going snowboarding, so I can confirm that the brand makes great products. This device also offers vibration therapy.

Want to keep cool on the move? Consider Shark's 3-in-1 ChillPill, which earned a solid score of 4.5 stars in our recent review. Only one colourway is on sale right now, and they did inflate the list price to make this look like a big deal, but the actual offer of £10 off on a brand-new product that mists, cools, and fans is still pretty neat.
