The 2026 Oscar winners have been unveiled, and we have a new class of actors, directors, writers, and more joining the Academy Awards hall of fame, including Paul Thomas Anderson, Jessie Buckley, and Michael B Jordan.
If you want to catch up on this year's award winners, or enjoy a movie again in the comfort of your living room if you've already seen it on the big screen, the good news is that seven of the films that won big last night are now available to watch across the best streaming services (availability will depend on where you live) with the gap between theatrical and streaming release having been a short one for many big movies this year.

One Battle After Another (2025)

One Battle After Another scooped a total of six Oscars, including Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Picture, as well as becoming the first winner of the Best Casting category that was introduced this year. Though it didn't manage to score Leonardo DiCaprio a second Oscar, Sean Penn did win Best Supporting Actor.
One Battle After Another will be available to stream in the UK when HBO Max lands on March 26.
Sinners (2025)

Michael B Jordan picked up the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in Ryan Coogler's supernatural horror flick Sinners, seeing off strong competition from Timothee Chalamet and others, while writer and director Coogler won Best Original Screenplay. Acting and writing aside, fans loved Sinners because of its exhilarating use of music and stunning cinematography, and so did the academy.
KPop Demon Hunters (2025)
Where to stream: Netflix (US, UK & AU)
Age rating: PG
Runtime: 95 minutes
KPop Demon Hunters delivered the first of Netflix's wins when it won Best Animated Feature, beating out not one but two Disney movies, and went on to score Best Original Song for Golden, a song that has helped to keep the movie high in Netflix's top 10 charts since its release last summer.
Frankenstein (2025)

Runtime: 150 minutes
Frankenstein earned Netflix three awards in the creative and visual categories, including Best Production Design for its striking sets, but the true star of Frankenstein was its bold costuming and makeup design. Jacob Elordi sat through 10 hours of makeup for his performance a the creatures, and the talented team that worked on him received recognition for their hard work, as did the costume designers who went all out on creating period pieces but with a modern flair.
Hamnet (2025)

Runtime: 126 minutes
Jessie Buckley has had one of the most spectacular winning streaks of any awards season in recent years, and winning the Oscar for Best Actress was the icing on the cake after winning the Golden Globe, BAFTA, Critic's Choice, and Actor Award.
Weapons (2025)

Runtime: 128 minutes
Amy Madigan picked up the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as the villainous aunt Gladys in the supernatural horror movie Weapons. It's been a remarkable 40 years since Madigan's last Oscar nomination, which just goes to show that giving up is never an option.
Weapons is available for digital purchase in the UK, and will land on HBO Max when it arrives on March 26.
F1 (2025)

Age rating: PG-13
Runtime: 155 minutes
This was a movie that not even its fans were expecting to get Oscar nods, let alone walk away with the award for Best Sound. As well as a nomination for Best Picture, F1 was up against big guns One Battle After Another and Sinners for Best Visual Effects and Best Film Editing, so the competition was stiff.
