The Prime Video Black Friday sale is the gift that keeps on giving. More than 30 add-on streaming services are currently discounted, and one of the best deals I've seen is on my favorite of the bunch: Starz.

This week, you can get Starz via Prime Video for 75% off for two months, meaning your monthly total comes from from $10.99 to $2.75. Talk about a bargain! Hurry though, because this deal only lasts until December 1.

When it comes to Starz content, you're basically spoilt for choice. We've already had hits like Outlander: Blood of My Blood, Raising Kanan and The Couple Next Door this year, with the highly-anticipated Outlander season 8 on its way early next year.

However, the biggest reason you'll want Starz is so you can stream the gore-fest charging onto the service next week. Amazingly, after over a decade, Spartacus is coming back (and yes, Nick E. Tarabay's Ashur is still alive).

Today's best Starz Black Friday deal

Starz (Prime Video add-on): $10.99$2.75 at Prime Video

Starz (Prime Video add-on): was $10.99 per month now $2.75 at Prime Video
You can get 75% off the usual monthly price of a Starz subscription for two months with this Prime Video add-on deal. There's plenty to watch on here, such as Now You See Me, Shadow Force, and John Wick Ballerina, which means you don't have to bundle the service with others if you just want to watch movies and shows from the network.

Why you need to stream Spartacus: House of Ashur on Starz

Watch On

Without giving too much away (keep your eyes peeled for that next week), Spartacus: House of Ashur is the sequel series I never dreamed would actually happen. The original series ran from 2010-2013, and it's not just Tarabay's character returning from days of old.

If you've never seen it before, think of the most bloodied and explicit version of Ridley Scott's Gladiator, and serialize it over 10 episodes. Spartacus has always been surprisingly historically accurate, but it doesn't shy away from upping the shock factor either. If you squint hard enough, it's almost like you're in the stands of the Colosseum yourself.

This time around, expect all of the above to be doubled down on. Spartacus: House of Ashur begins streaming weekly from December 5, and I'm predicting that it's going to be the show everybody is talking about throughout the winter months. Steel yourselves... that's all I'm going to say.
