- Star Wars Day 2026 will take place on May 4
- Disney is slowly rolling out this year's range of toys and merchandise
- TechRadar can exclusively reveal one of 2026's new must-have items
The 2026 edition of Star Wars Day is less than a month away — and you know what that means: new toys and merchandise to spend your money on.
Ahead of the now-annual celebration of Lucasfilm's legendary sci-fi franchise, TechRadar can exclusively reveal one of this year's range of collectables, too.
The item in question? Lando Calrissian's Skiff Guard Disguise Helmet, which will retail for $99.99 / £100.00, and be available to buy from May 4 — aka Star Wars Day — at Disney's online shop and physical stores. Check out official images of the helmet, its display stand, and its packaging below:

"Inspired by Lando Calrissian’s covert mission aboard Jabba’s sail barge, this detailed helmet captures the skiff guard disguise worn during the events above the Great Pit of Carkoon," the official description reads. "Its rugged design reflects the unmistakable look of Tatooine’s outer reaches. Complete with a display stand, it’s a distinctive collectible that commemorates a pivotal moment in the Rebellion’s fight against the Empire."
This item isn't just something that'll just gather dust as part of your memorabilia collection. Indeed, you can actually wear it, too, so why not cosplay as Lando at the next fan convention you go to and show it off in all of its glory?
Long-time fans won't need me to remind them which movie this is from. However, for those who haven't traveled to every corner of that iconic galaxy far, far away, Calrissian wears it during the first act of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
In it, the smooth-talking smuggler is part of the team that — spoilers! — attempts to rescue Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. To blend in with Jabba's entourage, Calrissian uses the headgear as part of his disguise. Unfortunately, the original plan to save Han goes awry, which forces Calrissian, Luke Skywalker, and the rest of the crew to not only improvise but fight for their lives. I very much doubt you'll have to contend with anything like that while you wear your own Skiff Helmet, though!
