  • Marvel has released the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again season 2
  • It confirms a late March launch for the returning Disney+ show
  • The forthcoming season's inaugural teaser is nothing if not disorienting

Marvel has released the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again season 2 – and confirmed that the show will return on March 24 (North and South America) and March 25 (everywhere else).

Until today (January 27), we only knew that Daredevil: Born Again's sophomore outing would drop sometime this March. And, despite a late-2025 faux pas from Disney appearing to confirm it would make its Disney+ bow on March 4, the Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio-led TV series is actually set to premiere three weeks later than we expected.

As for the forthcoming season's first teaser, it's a trailer built on sensory overload. Indeed, whether it's the smash-cut nature of its various clips, tonal shifts, and/or the jarring use of the song and sounds accompanying the footage, the Marvel Phase 6 TV show is certainly leaning into the chaos factor that season 2 will surely deliver on.

Despite running for just 70 seconds, a lot of great moments are packed into the latest teaser for the Daredevil-fronted live-action property.

For one, following confirmation that Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones would be in Born Again season 2, we get to see the superpowered P.I. get her hands dirty and fire another quip in lead character Matt Murdock's direction. Jones should prominently feature in the show's next installment, too, with Born Again season 2 set to include some "very cool surprises" surrounding Ritter's fan-favorite portrayal.

Elsewhere, we finally get confirmation that Elden Henson is back as Franklin 'Foggy' Nelson. However, with the character dying in last season's premiere, and the fact he's sporting the floppy haircut he had in Daredevil's Netflix show, it appears Foggy will only be back for some flashback sequences. It seems those season 1 fan theories about Foggy still being alive might not be true after all, then.

Other notable moments include *deep breath* tyrannical New York Mayor Wilson Fisk taking part in a boxing match, a first look at Matthew Lillard's enigmatic Mister Charles, shots of Wilson Bethel/Bullseye enjoying a classic float drink in a diner, Daredevil sporting his iconic black suit as he beats up some perps, Fisk's Anti-Vigilante Task Force roaming the streets, and Karen Page doing more undercover investigative work. Lots to look forward to, then!
