It's hard to find a better cheap laptop deal in the post-Cyber Monday sales than this Inspiron 15. It's nothing fancy, but this machine manages to pack in both a powerful Ryzen 5 chipset and a sizeable 512GB SSD in for just $300 - that's not bad to say the least. While you're only getting 8GB of RAM here, this is still a good choice if you're just looking for a cost-effective machine to cover the basics.

The Sony WH-1000MX4 are older now but they are still some of the best over-ear headphones ever. These wireless Sony cans package together top-notch audio, excellent comfort, and effective noise cancellation all at a reasonable price point that's about $100 less than the newer Sony XM5 that are only a minor upgrade. We still rate these as the best headphones for most people, exactly because you can find them at a price like this during major sales such as Cyber Monday.

Sony Alpha 7 IV: was $2,499.99 now $2,099 at Best Buy
We don't see many deals on what is arguably the best mirrorless camera in the world at the moment, but thanks to Cyber Monday, you can now get it for $400 less than normal. Our Sony Alpha 7 IV review gave the camera 4.5 out of 5 stars, calling it the 'hybrid king'. This mirrorless camera is one of the standouts from the past few years thanks to next-level its next-level autofocus, 33MP full-frame sensor, and vari-angle screen.

Best XPS 13 deal of 2024: Here it is, folks - the best deal yet on the latest Dell XPS 13. Complete with a brand-new Snapdragon X Elite chipset, this model is capable of not just exceptional day-to-day performance, but also battery life that's simply a cut-above what Windows laptops usually offer. Alongside superb specs, the latest XPS 13 also features a gorgeous lightweight design and a display that's perfect for both work and casual everyday use.

Record-low price: At just $599 - Walmart is practically giving away Apple's MacBook Air. Not only is this an outstanding price for such a powerful laptop that still holds up great for 2024, but this could be the last chance to pick one up now that it's officially discontinued. Don't miss this incredible deal if you're looking for a great bang for the buck MacBook.

When do Cyber Monday deals actually start?

Key dates for 2025

Black Friday: Friday, 28th November
Cyber Monday: Monday, 1st December

Cyber Monday is the first Monday of December, but you shouldn't rigidly stick to that date if you're looking for deals. As you probably already know, Cyber Monday directly follows Black Friday and is essentially a 'sister sale' of sorts. Many of the deals from Cyber Monday will be identical to those offered over Black Friday.

It's also worth noting that most retailers start their Black Friday sales well ahead of the big day itself, so it's definitely worth checking out sales from early. I usually recommend shoppers start keeping an eye out from early November onwards.

Black Friday vs Cyber Monday: which is better?

Honestly? As someone who's covered both for over five years, I can tell you that it's more or less a wash right now. It used to be the case that Cyber Monday was more of a tech-focused event, while Black Friday was more of a general sale, but these days, there isn't much between them in terms of content or deal quality.

Most of the retailers that take part in Black Friday will also hold Cyber Monday sales. In some cases, they may even launch a sale early under 'seasonal' or 'holiday' branding as a generic term for both. It's also extremely common for retailers to launch discounts early in November and then roll them through to early December.

How to get the best Cyber Monday deals

First things first, we'll be rounding up all the best Cyber Monday deals right here, so if you want an easy-to-navigate index of expert recommendations, just simply bookmark this page and revisit.

Regardless of whether you'll be flying solo or not, however, we do still have some tips to help score the best possible Cyber Monday deals.

1. Check in early
As with the prior Black Friday deals (which happen weeks in advance), we always recommend checking in early to see what's on sale. While it's not always the case, the best deals from Black Friday generally spill over into the weekend and Cyber Monday. Even if you don't buy early, I always recommend taking a look so you have more time researching your options.

2. Know what you're looking for
We'd definitely recommend drawing up a basic shopping list or a list of requirements well before Cyber Monday lands. For example, if you're looking for something like a 4K TV, set your budget, determine what size you need, and do a bit of reading in regard to brands and features. Similarly, with laptops, you should think about what kind of specs and power you'll need and visit sites like Dell and HP beforehand to gauge what they're likely to offer on the day.

3. Be prepared to buy alternatives
Following on from our second tip, we'd also recommend keeping an open mind in regard to what's exactly going to be on sale. You may have a crystal picture of the exact laptop you want to buy beforehand, but find that it's not as heavily reduced as another similar choice. In this case, it's often best to be brand-agnostic if you want to bag the best Cyber Monday deals.

Which retailers have the best Cyber Monday deals?

Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart tend to have the biggest overall sales over Cyber Monday, and they also tend to be the most popular events with our readers. With that said, I would say that more specialist retailers like Dell, Adorama, or HP are just as good as the big stores. Really, it depends on what you're looking for.

We've rounded up a few 'mini-reviews' for the top Cyber Monday retailers just down below, based on our own experience from covering their events.

Amazon Cyber Monday deals

Amazon Cyber Monday deals
Amazon's best Cyber Monday deals generally revolve around its own range of smart home and streaming devices. Expect record low or close to record low prices on things like Fire TV Sticks, Echo devices, Kindles, and Fire tablets. Another key area will be consumer electronics, including Apple, Samsung, and Sony products. With all that said, the vastness of Amazon's inventory makes it a great choice for everything from clothes to health and beauty deals.

Best Buy Cyber Monday deals

Best Buy Cyber Monday deals
Best Buy always runs fantastic Cyber Monday deals on tech and small appliances, namely things like cheap 4K TVs, laptops, Chromebooks, and small appliances. For cheap electronics, it's up there with both Amazon and Walmart, and it's also great for bigger ticket items like OLED TVs or gaming laptops. I also have to give credit to Best Buy for offering extensive price guarantees over the holiday period, which are fantastic for peace of mind.

Walmart Cyber Monday deals
Walmart's Cyber Monday sale is much like Amazon's in that it covers a vast range of inventory - everything from cheap toys to TVs, in fact. In recent years, Walmart's store has been taken over by a lot of third-party marketplace sellers, but there are still quite good Walmart deals on things like small appliances or slightly older models. I always keep an eye out at Walmart over Cyber Monday for things like last-gen Apple products, slightly older TVs, and super-cheap Chromebooks.

Dell Cyber Monday deals
For cheap laptops it's usually hard to beat Dell's Cyber Monday deals. The official Dell retailer stocks plenty of machines of varying price points and last year's sale offered price cuts of up to 50% off on certain models. For a reliable cheap laptop, check out Dell's range of Inspiron models and also it's Chromebooks. For those on the hunt for something a little more special, consider Dell's XPS line of ultrabooks and its Alienware branded gaming laptops.

Apple Cyber Monday deals
We've never seen Apple offer big upfront discounts over Cyber Monday but it does often have a gift card scheme that gives you vouchers to spend towards additional purchases. Apple does also run its own trade-in program that can be handy if you're looking to save some cash on new tech - iPhones in particular. Note that this program is available all year round but often features slightly better rebate terms over sales periods like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. For upfront discounts, however, we highly recommend heading on over to Amazon, Best Buy, or Walmart.
