We've seen this price cut on rare occasions before, but it's a return to the previous record-low price for unlocked devices. In our Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra review, we called the device the best Galaxy S phone yet from the brand, even though in our opinion, this is one is a relatively iterative upgrade over the previous model.

Samsung has managed to push forward the overall design, performance, and AI in the Galaxy S26 Ultra without raising the price, which is impressive. The killer new features, in our opinion, are the Privacy display and Super Steady video — quite innovative and exclusive to this Galaxy model, specifically. The major selling point, however, remains the device's incredible display, excellent cameras, and S-Pen support.
