Epic Samsung phone sale at Best Buy includes record-low prices on Fold 7, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge

The retailer's Labor Day sale is live – including excellent phone deals

Best Buy's Labor Day sale has already started, and if you're looking for a discount on one of the latest Samsung phones, then you're in luck. The retailer currently has listed some of the cheapest prices I've seen this year so far on the latest Samsung phones.

My favorite deal? It has to be on the brand-new Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is currently available for just $1,599 (was $1,999) with a carrier activation. As with previous phone deals at Best Buy, the retailer gives you the choice between an upfront discount and a further rebate via activation. In this case, activating will get you an additional $100 off. Although, even at $1,699, this device is a good buy considering it's brand new.

Another great option at Best Buy is the Galaxy S25 Edge, which you can pick up for just $849 (was $1,099) when combined with an activation. Reviews have been a little mixed on this device, but I definitely think it's a good buy at $849. It's an extremely feature-packed and premium phone for the money – and of course, it's a fantastic buy if you value a super-slim handset.

And, finally, the 'standard' Galaxy S25 range also has some superb discounts at Best Buy. You can pick up the S25 Ultra for $949 (was $1,199) and the Galaxy S25 for $619 (was $799), respectively. These prices match the previous record-low for both devices, although, again, you need to activate your device on an eligible carrier immediately to get the best possible price.

As with all phone deals at Best Buy, note that you can also trade in an old device for an additional discount. If you're doing that, then you can expect a couple of hundred dollars off in addition. Best Buy's trade rebates don't tend to be quite as good as those at the major carriers, though.

The Fold 7 is barely a few months old as of writing, so Best Buy's Labor Day discount is especially noteworthy. At $1,699 upfront for an unlocked device, this is a great discount – although you can knock a further $100 off if you activate on a major carrier immediately. With a refined design, 200MP camera, and extremely large 8-inch internal display, we think the Fold 7 is easily the best foldable from Samsung yet and well worth the cash if you've got some to spend.

It is, however, a little more niche than its other S25 siblings, trading out the highest-end features from the Ultra for a gorgeous slim-line design. At $719 upfront, today's price cut doesn't match the record-low for an unlocked device, but you can activate for a further $100 discount. That does, indeed, make this a match for the record-low price on the flagship device, which is still one of our favorites here at TechRadar.

At $949, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is a pricey but worthwhile consideration in our books. Next to the Edge and the Fold, it's certainly the 'sensible' choice with its mix of a high-end design and features. As with the other deals at Best Buy today, you'll need to activate your device on a carrier to get an additional $100 off the list price. That will take the device down to match its previous record-low price.
