My favorite iPhone Air case just hit its lowest price ever for Black Friday on Amazon
If you love to score a good deal, this is likely one of the most exciting weeks of the year for you – Black Friday is just days away, and there’s a treasure trove of deals already live for you to take advantage of. Amazon has a slew of them, and if you’ve picked up Apple’s iPhone Air, you can now save on an official case, and more importantly, my favorite case for the ultra-thin iPhone.
Yes, Apple’s iPhone Air is really, really durable — our editor-at-large put that to the test with an Apple VP. However, whether you want to add a little flair, protect yourself when it gets warmer, or are just prone to drops, Apple’s Bumper Case fits the bill.
Amazon has dropped the price by a record 29% for Light Blue, 27% for Black, and 26% for Light Gray or Tan. All of these bring the cost well under the $39 MSRP, but Light Blue isn’t just the cheapest at $27.49 – it’s the best shade of the bunch. In the UK, Amazon’s made things a bit easier as every color is 26% off at £29.00.
Ostensibly, you are paying for a milled piece of polycarbonate that tightly snaps around your iPhone Air, providing a lip of sorts on the front and back.
Today's best iPhone Air Bumper Black Friday deal
Apple's iPhone Air Bumper Case isn't just tailor-made for the ultra-thin phone, but it's also down to the lowest price ever in 'Light Blue'. Ahead of Black Friday proper, it's just $27.54 on Amazon and comes with free, fast shipping for Prime members. It's certainly minimal, but it still gives you easy access to buttons and provides some protection. You can also save on other colors, but the discount is slightly smaller.
Amazon in the UK is making it much easier to get a discount on the Apple-made Bumper case for the iPhone Air. Every color – Light Blue, Tan, Black, and Light Gray- is 26% off and available for just £29.00.
Throughout my time with the iPhone Air, I've had the Bumper on the ultra-thin phone. Not so much for protection, but at times to make it a bit easier to grab and add a little flair. If I'm also daring to use the cross-body strap accessory, this Bumper is needed for proper attachment.
The Bumper case provides a tight fit around the iPhone Air and is basically perfectly milled to match the dimensions. You can get access to the action button, volume up, volume down, the power button, and Camera Control. There are also holes at the bottom for easy charging, and since the back is still wide open, you can easily attach a MagSafe charger.
If you're after a minimalist case for the iPhone Air that doesn't distract from its ultra-thin looks or the matte, smooth finish on the rear, the Apple-made Bumper is an excellent option, and it's available at a great price on Amazon in the US and UK.
