Redmi 10 Power, Redmi 10A budget smartphones debut in India

Finally, Redmi has rolled out two new phones in India under the Redmi 10 series - Redmi 10A and Redmi 10 Power. Both the smartphones look quite identical in terms of design. However, when it comes to features and specifications, the Power variant is a step ahead in most of the aspects. 

We can say that smartphones are all set to compete with their arch Rival Realme's Narzo 50 series. We can say that the Redmi 10A is a device for people looking for entry-level devices with basic level performance. However, those customers who want to spend a little bit more and worry about performance can go for the Redmi 10 Power. 

Redmi 10 series pricing and availability

Starting off with Redmi 10A, the smartphone's 3GB variant with 32GB internal storage is available in the market at a price of Rs 8,499. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM variant along with 64GB internal storage is available in the market for Rs 9,499. 

The first sale of the device is scheduled to be held on April 26. It will be shipped in three colour options - Black, Grey, and Blue. The smartphone will be available on Amazon India, Mi Home, and Mi.com.

The Redmi 10 Power has a lone 8GB variant with 128GB internal storage. it is available in the market at a price of Rs 14,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Amazon India, Mi Home, and Mi.com. It is being shipped in two colour options - Sporty Orange and Power Black. The sale date of the smartphone is still under the wraps yet. 

Redmi 10 series specifications

The Redmi 10A comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display offering 1600x720 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor coupled with PowerVR8320 graphics processing unit (GPU). The device is based on the Android 11 operating system with MIUI 12.5 skin on top. 

The Redmi 10A sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for clicking pictures and creating videos. The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. 

For security purposes, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options offered in the device include WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, etc. 

The Redmi 10 Power includes a 6.71-inch HD+ LCD display with 1500x720 pixels resolution. The smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor along with Adreno 610 GPU. It also offers dynamic RAM expansion up to 3GB. 

In terms of camera, Redmi 10 Power flaunts a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary snapper and a 2MP secondary snapper. At the front, the smartphone gets a 5MP snapper for capturing selfies and attending video calls. The smartphone is powered by a 6000mAh battery that can go on for a day even after extensive use.
