China’s eminent smartphone making brand OnePlus is in headlines once again ahead of it’s next phone launch expected on November 5. The phone in talks this time is an upgrade to the existing flagship killer OnePlus 5, rumoured by the name of OnePlus 5T. It’s said that the company will once again follow the same strategy which they followed after the OnePlus 3 by bring an enhanced variant, OnePlus 3T.
The OnePlus 5T is said to be a minor yet an incremental upgrade over its predecessor. Like all the OnePlus phones, we’ve been hearing leaks in masses ahead of the launch. From specifications to design, we have seen it all and it looks quite convincing as of now. Today, GizmoChina reported that the upcoming smartphone went up for pre-registration on Oppo Mart, revealing not just the specifications but also the price of the phone.
Going by the listing on Oppo Mart, the OnePlus 5T will be priced at $549 (approx. Rs 35,799). Also, the product image confirms thinned down bezels and a larger screen to body ratio.
The listed specifications suggest a similar internal hardware as the OnePlus 5, except for a 6-inch FHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will have a Snapdragon 835 processor which will apparently come with 8GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage variants. On the camera front, the listing suggest that the phone will sport a dual-camera setup on the rear which combines a 20-megapixel f/1.7 aperture, and 16-megapixel f/2.6 aperture.
Another leaked AnTuTu screenshot shared by GizChina.it reveals the phone’s internals that claim that the phone will have Android O out of the box and a 20 + 20 megapixel camera sensors on the rear. Rest of the specifications are the same as we’ve heard them from other sources.
