NordVPN expands scam call protection

NordVPN has just expanded its scam call protection for Android users in the UK and Canada. Initially launched in the US in July as a “scam call protection” feature, the tool has now rebranded simply as “call protection,” signaling an ambition to move beyond simple scam detection to provide users with more detailed information about who's calling. The team has already shared plans to add a more advanced caller ID system, alongside a user reporting system. Support for iPhones and more countries is also in the pipeline.

Roblox rolls out age verification selfies for kids

Since most young users lack government IDs, the platform relies on Persona’s third-party technology to estimate age using facial biometrics. While Roblox claims the images are immediately deleted, the collection of children's biometric data is a huge concern.
