The ultra-light Dyson V9 cordless vacuum just plummeted to less than half price, and it's not even Black Friday yet

We're barely into November and I've already spotted a Dyson vacuum deal that would put most Black Friday discounts to shame – the Dyson V9 Motorbar is now $269.99 (was $599.99) at Best Buy, as well as direct from Dyson.com. That's less than half price on this ultra-lightweight, streamlined stick vacuum, and the lowest price I've spotted on this model by some way.

The Dyson V9 has a massive $330 off ahead of Black Friday, which is less than half price and an incredibly low price for a cordless Dyson vacuum. This model is lightweight and straightforward, but expect strong power, meticulous engineering and reliable build quality.

The V9 isn't the best Dyson vacuum based on specs and it lacks the flashy features of the newest models, but it still looks like a solid performer that'll fit the bill for many people's needs. It sits above the older-but-still-popular Dyson V8 vacuum and the Dyson V11 vacuum – below is a table that outlines the differences.

As you can see, the real selling points are the super-light weight, the useful LCD screen to provide information, and the very affordable price. It's very rare to see any Dyson vacuum for less than $300 – this deal is well worth paying attention to.

Because the dust cup is small, I wouldn't recommend it to those with large homes, shedding pets or lots of carpet to clean – head to my best cordless vacuum guide for my favorite alternatives.
