Snapping up a cheap wearable is a great way to help turbocharge your fitness goals – and I’ve spotted an excellent cheap Fitbit. Right now, you can buy the Fitbit Inspire 3 at Amazon for £58.99 (was £84.99), which is very close to its all-time cheapest price of £52 from the Black Friday sales. Rarely do we see it as low as £58.99, so this is a great time to buy.

The Fitbit Inspire 3 is a good entry-level fitness tracker. It monitors your steps, tracks many different types of exercise, and provides you with a daily readiness score to help you determine what you’re capable of each day. A chunky 10-day battery life is convenient, too.

Compatible with both Android and iOS phones, the Fitbit Inspire 3 is ideal for those starting their fitness journey – especially at this incredibly low price. It tracks your steps, calories burned, resting heart rate, and even your sleep. It’s not quite as advanced as a smartwatch, but it has all the essentials to help you see solid progress as you exercise.

Our Fitbit Inspire 3 review gave it a respectable four stars out of five, and even though it's a few years old now, it remains a great choice for anyone on a budget. It’s “an easy-to-use and efficient device that will help any newcomers to the fitness tracking scene get stuck right in”.

It doesn’t have a very big screen, which can be off-putting, but it is at least bright and colourful. You also get “excellent health-tracking features” and the Fitbit app “makes it easy to read and analyse your metrics”.

Unsurprisingly, it ranks highly in our look at the best Fitbit. We appreciated how discreet it is compared to smartwatches. If you can afford more or you want extra features, another one of the best fitness trackers may be suitable, but this one gets you started well. I owned a Fitbit Inspire 3 at the start of my fitness journey and it was a reliable companion for a long time.

If you’re already at the stage of needing more from your fitness devices, take a look at the Apple Watch deals available. There are some good Garmin deals going on at the moment, too.
