The latest MacBook Pro has only just launched, but we already have an unbelievable trade-in deal to share with you. If you take advantage of it, you can be the proud owner of an Apple MacBook Pro (M5) from Best Buy for as little as $799 (was $1,599).

The maximum trade-in value of $800 is available on the MacBook Pro (M4), or if you have something a little older, like the MacBook Pro M1 model, you can still get a respectable $300 off.

Today's best Apple MacBook Pro (M5) deal

Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch (M5)
Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch (M5): was $1,599 now $799 at Best Buy

The latest model of the MacBook Pro features the most powerful chip Apple has ever developed. The result is a laptop that promises next-generation speed and powerful on-device AI. This is also the laptop to buy if you're working on professional tasks or highly demanding creative projects. Get it now with this juicy trade-in deal.

We're currently testing the MacBook Pro M5, but it's a little too early to make any definitive statements on how it performs. We would, however, expect it to be faster than the MacBook Pro 14-inch M4 (2024), which we described as "a pro-grade portable that impresses in every area."

The latest model also includes a more powerful GPU with a neural accelerator built into each core. This will help to supercharge AI performance, although Apple Intelligence is still in its infancy, so you might be hedging your bets with regards to making the most of the technology.

Maybe more impressive is the advertised 24 hours of battery life. If the laptop achieves anything near that number, then it makes it a seriously portable device,a nd you'll have the added benefit of being able to leave your charger at home.

The MacBook Pro M5 will be competing for a place in our guide to the best laptops, but if you're open to the other major operating system, then you'll want to take a look at our list of the best Windows laptops. And don't forget to check out the best laptop deals at the moment.
