Panasonic SC-HTB100: was £79.99 now £47.49 at Amazon

Yes, you can grab a very solid soundbar this Black Friday for less than £50. OK, you're not getting Dolby Atmos or massive bass output from the Panasonic SC-HTB100, but you'll get well-separated dialogue, unbelievably easy setup, and plenty of connectivity options, including HDMI and Bluetooth. This is the lowest price Pana's low-cost soundbar has ever been, so now's the perfect time to grab it.

In my Panasonic SC-HTB100 review, I raved about this budget-friendly bar's clear, well-positioned dialogue reproduction, its wide array of connectivity options, and its already top value for money.

Although it doesn't support Dolby Atmos, you're still likely to notice a substantive improvement over TV audio, especially if you've got a smaller display or an older TV.

Similarly, although this soundbar won't deliver the cinematic bass that pricier options like the Samsung HW-Q800F offer, I appreciated how its bass reflex port subtly emphasized deeper tones in movie soundtracks.

Overall, this soundbar is far better than its puny price suggests, and I highly recommend checking it out before the Black Friday sales end. If you'd like to assess your options, though, I've included a few more tasty bargains below.

Sony HT-SF150
Save 29% (£35)
Sony HT-SF150: was £119 now £84 at Amazon

This model typically gets a price drop during big sales events, and it's always an easy recommendation for me to make. Yes, the Sony HT-SF150 is one of my favorite sub-£100 soundbars around, thanks to its clear, expansive sound and sleek look. It makes use of Sony's S-Force surround sound virtual processing, so you'll get a bit more width than the (still very good) Panasonic model above will offer. You get easy set-up and a neat remote bundled too, so there's a whole lot to love for £98.

Sony HT-S2000
Save 40% (£180)
Sony HT-S2000: was £449 now £269 at Amazon

This one's ideal if you're looking for a cheap Dolby Atmos bar. Its featured on our best soundbars list as the best budget option for several years for good reason, with support for both Atmos and DTS:X soundtrack formats as well as Bluetooth for music streaming. At £269, this isn't quite the cheapest we've seen it (its hit £249 before), but this is still an excellent discount.

Bose Smart Soundbar
Save 20% (£100.95)
Bose Smart Soundbar: was £499.95 now £399 at Amazon

This soundbar harnesses the power of up-firing speakers to create the convincing Dolby Atmos effects you need to take movies to new heights. On top of that, you'll get generally clear sound that's strong for movies and music alike. There's even a Personal Surround Sound feature that enables you to pair the bar with Bose's Ultra Open Earbuds for surround sound, without the need to buy extra speakers. Discounts on the Bose Smart Soundbar don't come around all too often, so take advantage of this Amazon deal to score a cool £100 off.
