Spring is just around the corner, and IKEA has just added a collection of fresh and inspiring new lamps and accessories that will freshen up your home office in time for the brighter days ahead. Add a splash of green with maintenance-free artificial plants, and you'll have a space that's as calming as a stroll through a woodland glade (almost).
As one of TechRadar's homes editors, I'm always on the lookout for smart and stylish lighting that will brighten up a workspace. I'm waiting impatiently for the official launch of the donut-shaped IKEA Varmblixt Lamp, which cycles through a palette of soothing colors, but until then you can add a natural touch with the Storsegel Table Lamp in ash, or IKEA's range of Sandkorn / Havsdjup Pendant Lamps, which feature hand-crafted rattan shades in a range of shapes.
You can soften the look further by nestling your tablet or laptop on the bamboo Vivalla Tablet Stand, and setting your phone down on the Bergenes Mobile Phone / Tablet Holder, so you won't be tempted to start doom-scrolling. Want something more fun? The Handskalad Decoration is an articulated wooden hand that can hang onto your phone while you get on with work.
Throw in a few Fejka Artificial Potted Plants and pin a few of your favorite nature photos to the Skådis Pegboard, and you'll have a fresh and welcoming space that'll help you relax into your working day.
Give your home office the natural touch
