Sign up for a year of Crunchyroll Mega Fan and stream your favorite anime for the lowest price yet
Save $20 / £12 off an annual subscription before the new year
Anime is becoming more popular as time goes on. However, mainstream services like Netflix still can't beat the likes of Crunchyroll when it comes to volume. And now, if you're looking to sign up, the Crunchyroll Mega Fan yearly subscription just dropped to $99.99 / £47.99 (was $119.99 / £59.99) for the holidays.
As part of its Year-End Sale, Crunchyroll is offering discounts for both its yearly Fan and Mega Fan subscriptions until the end of 2025. These premium memberships allow you to watch the entire library ad-free, watch new episodes shortly after they debut in Japan, and access other exclusive discounts on the Crunchyroll Store.
Unfortunately, discounts on monthly memberships aren't available – it's annual plans only. If the price is an issue, you can do a standard Fan subscription for $69.99 / £39.99 (was $79.99 / £49.99) and still get ad-free content.
Today's best anime subscription deal
Crunchyroll Mega Fan Yearly Subscription: was $119.99 / £59.99 now $99.99 / £47.99 at Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll has the largest library of anime series in a globally available streaming service. It rarely runs discounts on subscriptions, so this discount on a yearly membership for standard Fan and Mega Fans is the best you can expect for the foreseeable future. Crunchyroll is also ending its free ad-supported tier, so this is the cheapest you can get the subscription before you're forced to pay for content.
Crunchyroll Mega Fans have more privileges than the average subscriber. For example, if you like sharing with friends and family, you can stream to four devices at a time. You can also download HD videos, which could be useful for catching up on your favorite anime series during long journeys.
This deal also comes conveniently close to the time Crunchyroll announced that it was ending the free ad-supported tier on December 31. So, if you plan on continuing to watch Crunchyroll content, this is the best option to keep up with your favorite anime.
