Project Hail Mary finally has a streaming release date — here's how to watch the hit sci-fi movie at home

One of this year's best new movies, Project Hail Mary, is coming to a screen near you as it's making it's streaming debut after a hugely successful theatrical run.
It's been confirmed that the movie will be available to stream on MGM+ from Thursday, June 18. It's not available on any of the major streaming services right now, but you can get MGM+ as a Prime Video add-on channel with a seven-day free trial for new subscribers.
This isn't the only way to watch Project Hail Mary though, so don't worry if you're not ready to commit to another streaming service. The movie is also available to rent or buy on a number of on demand platforms including Prime Video and YouTube.
If you missed Project Hail Mary in theaters or just want to experience it all over again, you don't have long to wait.

Our senior entertainment reporter Tom Power gave Project Hail Mary a near perfect 4.5-star review, saying: "To quote Project Hail Mary's cute co-lead Rocky, Amazon's new sci-fi movie is nothing short of 'amaze, amaze, amaze'."
He's not alone either as the movie has a glowing 94% Rotten Tomatoes critic score , with audiences rating it even higher at 95%. It is undoubtedly one of 2026's most successful movie releases.
The movie follows Rylan Gosling as a science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship light years from home, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. He begins to uncover that he's there on a mission to solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out.

It seems like an impossible task but he isn't alone; he is accompanied by Rocky, an alien that has stolen the hearts of viewers everywhere.
So there we have it, there's only a week to go until Project Hail Mary arrives on streaming. I can't wait to watch it all over again.
