Warning: spoilers for Landman season 2 episode 3 ahead.

Sure, Landman season 2 episode 3 is mostly about Cami (Demi Moore) learning how much trouble her late husband Monty (Jon Hamm) has gotten their business into, with Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) practically falling apart at the seams while trying to fix the mess.

Ali Larter says Angela exploding is 'just what she does for her family'

"It's so exhausting for me," Larter explains. "By the end of the day, I'm like, 'please give me a beer.' ...but I love that Taylor's [Sheridan] writing it, and in these first episodes, I think that he saw that the audience really responded to those scenes, too.

"That's what Angela does for her family and this relationship. What's going to happen is she's going to try her hardest, and then Tommy will do something to provoke her, and then she's going to explode. But as we continue to grow with them, you see that they're really asking themselves, if they don't have each other, who are they? And that's where we go this season.

She continues, "What's the reality? Is this really possible? Are we going to heal our family? Can we parent these children? And what happens when Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) goes away to college and Angela's falling apart? Does Tommy's have the capacity to be there for her, like when she's in pain?"

They're excellent questions, but we're likely a little way off from getting some concrete answers. We have seven episodes of Landman season 2 left, and it's hardly going to be smooth sailing for such a fiery relationship.

If Angela gets her dream house in Fort Worth, all might be well. But until then, I can't wait to see how she outdoes herself in episode 4 and beyond.
