This article contains spoilers for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3.

The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 finale is here and while there was plenty of speculation that a secret episode could be on the way, a bumper episode 11 officially concludes the Belly-Conrad endgame in the best way possible.

Episode 10 set us up for the perfect Conrad ending as he boarded his flight to Paris to go and get his girl, finally. And as he waits outside her apartment, Belly (Lola Tung) turns up with Benito, the short-lived European fling, not that Conrad (Christopher Briney) knows that. But, this time he wasn’t going to walk away and we all knew it.

After an awkward hug, they spent the day in full tourist mode rediscovering each other through long talks set against the backdrop of the city. And in true The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) fashion, it was ever the slow burn.

Belly moved to Paris to find who she really was when away from the Fisher brothers and the dreaminess of Cousins. And she invites Conrad to spend the day with her before he heads to Brussels for a conference.

Meanwhile, Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) continues to live out his all-of-a-sudden chef dreams while growing closer to Denise (Isabella Briggs). And Taylor (Rain Spencer) and Steven (Sean Kaufman) fight about him and Denise moving to California. These moments, admittedly, were hard not to skip to find more Belly-Conrad. But, I'll be brief.

Jeremiah and Denise end up kissing after he makes a great soufflé and is feeling pretty pleased with himself. Sure, the flirting was all leading up to this point and I suppose it makes sense that Jeremiah ended up with someone too.

Fortunately, Taylor and Steven's story was a little more heartfelt, deciding to move to California together after season's worth of their own "will they, won't they?" storyline.

But, let's get back to Paris where Belly donned a little black dress and red lips for her birthday dinner with friends, introducing them to Conrad. They joke that when it comes to Conrad's birthday gift to her, maybe she'll "undress her present later". And, spoiler alert, she most certainly does.

A little drunk, Conrad and Belly leave the party together to wander the streets of Paris. Belly calls the night "perfect" and Conrad admits he felt she was hiding out from everything that happened. But, what Conrad promises her is that she isn't the villain in their story, revealing that Jeremiah gave his blessing for the trip (not that he needed it).

They slow dance by the water and that tension that we saw at the peach stall and after Conrad cut his leg is there again. And as Belly leans into Conrad's chest, she admits his love letters saved her. And in a The Notebook-esque moment, Conrad asks her why it took her so long to write back. Belly admits she needed to move on.

And when Conrad asks if she has moved on, she most certainly hasn't. Instead, she holds his face and they finally kiss. They head back to hers and the rest, as they say, is history. But, not quite.

After they make love, Belly gets cold feet that quickly turn to icicles when Conrad again tells her that he loves her and asks if she feels the same. Belly can't decide if the love they feel for each other is only because it's what Susannah wanted. Conrad pleads with her that it's not true. But, Belly still can't decide how she really feels, even after some seriously passionate scenes.

So, Conrad leaves for Brussels and, not too long afterwards and to many sighs of relief from Prime Video viewers, Belly chases after him. And if you didn’t squeal at Belly jumping onto that train to catch Conrad and admit she loves him back, well, why not?

For the first time in the series, it felt like she made a choice for herself. Jeremiah was never right. We all knew it. But, watching Belly finally pick Conrad. Well, it’s everything I was hoping for and more.

And to end it all, Belly and Conrad return to Cousins. Together. But, that's not quite it. After a montage of Christmas in Paris snaps, a letter from Jenny Han, the writer of TSITP, reads: "Maybe we'll meet again one summer in Cousins. Until then." So, is it really over?
