Roborock is no stranger to our roundups of the best robot vacuums, and the Q7 M5 is a strong contender for a place in our best budget robot vacuum guide.

Despite its budget-friendly price, the Q7 M5 actually boasts a number of features reserved for higher-end models, including 10,000Pa of suction. That's a top-end spec and ideal for picking up most types of debris. Oh, and it's also a hybrid, which means it can mop and vacuum. Very impressive for such an affordable model.

Most of the best robot vacuums cost a premium and have features none of us would ever use. The Roborock Q7 M5 is a little different in that it delivers great performance across a simpler set of features. As a result, it's much more affordable than a lot of its rivals and even cheaper thanks to Amazon Prime Day.

Also on sale today thanks to the Amazon Prime Day event is the upgraded Q7 M5+ version of the Q7 M5. This particular iteration is a little pricier but comes with a very handy self-emptying dock. The dock is rated for 7-9 weeks of cleaning, so this really is the ultimate option if you're looking for no-fuss cleaning on a budget.

In our Roborock Q7 M5 review, we gave the budget robovac a solid four stars and called it "a brilliant budget bot with bouncy suspension" and said that it "offers impressively strong suction for a budget-friendly price".

It's worth noting that the Q7 M5 has a charge-only dock rather than a self-emptying one, but if you're happy performing a manual empty every few cleans, then it won't be a problem. For self-emptying, you'll want to upgrade to the M5 Plus version, which is also on sale for Prime Day.

The bottom line is that this is a robot vacuum that performed well in all our cleaning tests and was even able to navigate tall thresholds. It really does deliver where it matters most.
