Yes, it's quick but is it fast enough compared to the Intel Core i7 2600K, top-end Sandy Bridge CPU to justify its price tag?
If you want to discuss pricing when you talk about this new Gulftown chip then there is no justification for it. It's simply too pricey to be in anything other than the money-no-object sphere. If it's got to be the fastest, then it's got to be the 990X.
