Whether I’m heading into the city for the day or embarking on a long-haul flight, beyond my iPhone, AirPods, and other core pieces of tech, I always bring something to keep those devices powered.
Even if I know there will probably be an outlet nearby, a battery pack has become a trusted part of my everyday carry. It means I’m not dependent on whether a power port is working – something that’s especially hit-or-miss on planes – and it makes quick top-ups on the go effortless.
That’s where this Anker battery pack comes in. It’s relatively compact and even pocketable, yet powerful enough to earn a permanent spot in my bag. I actually own it in both light blue and black, and what stands out most is how practical the design is. There’s an integrated woven USB-C cable, an additional USB-C port, a USB-A port, and a front-facing display that shows remaining charge at a glance.
With 10,000mAh onboard, it can easily recharge my iPhone 17 Pro Max, handle smaller accessories like AirPods Pro, and split power between devices when needed, including giving my MacBook Pro or Nintendo Switch 2 a boost.
I’ve used this Anker portable charger on commuter trains, at 30,000 feet on a United Airlines flight, and during full days at Disney World, where my phone is constantly in use for photos, navigation, and the Disney app. It’s kept up without issue.
It’s also held up well to daily use and the occasional drop. While the lighter finish shows some scuffs, charging performance hasn’t been affected. I’ll keep bringing it with me on the road – and it’s clearly resonating with shoppers, too, having been purchased more than 3,000 times in the past month. With the current discount bringing it down to $22.99, it’s easy to see why.
I don’t travel without this Anker battery pack – it’s small enough to carry daily, yet with a 10,000 mAh battery, it can charge multiple devices via two ports and an integrated cable. At $22.99, it solves battery anxiety without feeling like an overthink.
