Nokia is expected to launch its G21 smartphone in India on April 26. The company has recently been counting down the days until the launch of the device on Twitter.
A recent report by Pricebaba has also confirmed that the smartphone arriving in India will get the same specifications as the international variant. Nokia is also expected to launch the G11 as well. While there are not many details regarding the G11, it is possible to confirm some of the specifications of the G21 at this time.

Nokia G21 expected specifications
Like its international variant, the Nokia G21 could come with a 6.5-inch HD LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch at the top. The smartphone may also feature a Unisoc T606 SoC and come with dual-band Wi-Fi support.
When it comes to cameras, the device will sport a triple-camera setup at the rear with a primary 50-megapixel sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors for macro shots and depth sensing. The previously mentioned waterdrop notch houses the 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The recent teasers from the company have given us a closer look at the device which could also be mistaken for a Motorola G-series smartphone with a similar oval camera enclosure.
Like other Nokia smartphones, the Nokia G21 will be running on stock Android 11 out of the box. We would have to wait and see, though, how many more updates would come to the device in the future.
The device also comes with a 5,050 mAh battery pack that supports 18W fast charging as well. The company has claimed that the Nokia G21 provides a battery life of up to 3 days.

The pricing of the Nokia G21 could be similar to the previous generation, Currently, the Nokia G20 retails for Rs 12,999 on Amazon and we could expect the company to launch the successor too around the same price. However, it is unclear as of this time if the company would discontinue the Nokia G20 after the launch.

Many smartphones have launched in the Indian market over the past few months. But many of these are priced around Rs 15,000 and it may seem that many consumers have found a sweet spot for choosing a smartphone in 2022.
And Nokia has a tough time catching up with many of its competitors like Motorola, Oppo, Xiaomi and Realme. While the company has learned a lot in terms of design and software, it is now time for the company to return to producing more premium devices with a better choice of chipset and hardware.
