Why not try making a flash diffuser from a two-pint milk carton? Using a diffuser on a flashgun can help give your portraits a warmer feel. The translucent plastic used to make milk cartons is perfect for this.
Step 1
Cut your milk carton in half. The bottom part is your diffuser, so make sure it's big enough to fit your flash.
Step 2
Attach it to the flash with tape and ensure that the end of the carton is about a centimetre from the flash.
