The Fitbit Charge 6 is back down to its lowest ever price – and I can't recommend it enough after a family health scare
I've got personal experience with its powerful health tools
The Fitbit Charge 6 is a great fitness tracker packing on-board GPS and exercise guidance, and is suitable for habitual runners, cyclists, gym-goers, and active people in general. However, with its sleep tracking, ECG functionality, and Irregular Rhythm Notifications feature, it's a good wellness tracker and a great early warning health system too.
Right now, it's on offer in the Black Friday deals, matching its lowest-ever price. In the US, the Fitbit Charge 6 is available on Amazon for $99.95 (was $159.95), while in the UK, it's also available for £98 on Amazon (was £139). As a fitness tracker expert, I can 100% recommend getting it in the Black Friday deals at this price, especially if you're buying it as a wellness tracker.
I gifted an older family member a Fitbit Charge 6 a few years ago. My family member had heart trouble that we knew about, and was looking to build up strength and cardio fitness, as well as monitor their overall health.
However, a few months after getting the device, its Irregular Rhythm Notifications kicked in, alerting my family member that their heart rate was all over the place and prompting them to call emergency services.
Minutes after arriving at the hospital, they were rushed to intensive care. The Irregular Rhythm notification may well have saved their life. Now out of the hospital, they've continued to use the Fitbit's ECG and sleep tracking functionalities to closely monitor their health, as well as track workouts to build that fitness functionality back up.
It's a really simple device to operate, with a touch screen and haptic sensor on the side in lieu of a button, and minimal interaction on the band: a lot of key metrics are viewed and used via the app.
Combined with its wellness metrics, step counter, and week-long battery life, it makes it an ideal fitness tracker for seniors. Some older adults (and some younger ones, like me) might not want a smartwatch like an Apple Watch that needs charging every other day, or a large screen that offers lots of different functionality. Instead, they might want a set-and-forget automatic health tracker. The Fitbit Charge 6 is that tracker.

US deal: While the Fitbit Charge 6 has its fair share of price drops, it's not every day you see it hit a record-low price. Its pricing history suggests that this Black Friday deal will be available throughout Amazon's sale event, but we don't know if this deal will sell out ahead of Black Friday itself.

UK deal: This is a very generous discount and the lowest-ever price. As it stands, this Black Friday deal is a better offer than last year's, so we don't know if Amazon will surprise us by taking this deal away before Black Friday officially arrives. Get it while it's hot!

US deal: The Fitbit Inspire 3 receives frequent price drops, so this doesn't come as a huge surprise to us, but who could pass on a saving of over 30%? It had a similar price drop in last year's Black Friday sale, so while we're not expecting another reduction, it's still a great offer on a beginner-friendly fitness tracker.

US deal: Save a cool 22% ($100) on the Google Pixel Watch 4 (41mm) LTE. Not only does it have on-device Gemini, Google Maps, Fitbit workout smarts (including a new AI health coach), sleep tracking, and a speaker/microphone for taking calls, but it can also be added to a phone's data plan to call, message, and stream away from your phone.

UK deal: The Versa 4 is just £5 over its lowest ever price, but this Black Friday deal still works out cheaper than last year's offer, saving you 30%. It's a decent mid-range fitness tracker option, which we praised for its lengthy battery life and simplicity, making it a good entry-level device.

UK deal: For the past three years, this model has received the same Black Friday price: we're not expecting any further discounts, so feel free to buy now rather than wait for another drop.
