It's that time of year again for golf fans: The Masters means booking out the TV for a long weekend, soaking up the glorious course of Augusta National, and watching elite golfers wishing — just wishing — we were even 7% as good as them at golf.
Nonetheless, its timing at the very beginning of 'proper' golf season, as the weather starts turning better for good, means it's also a great time to put some time and investment into your own game and setup before the summer gets here.
Out of all the tech available to us golfers, my favorite is the golf watch. They are the perfect combo of convenience, capability, versatility, and sheer on-course prowess, all in one little package. I cannot imagine playing rounds without one now, from getting yardage help and course management assistance to simply having a convenient and proficient smartwatch for comms while out on the course, too.
As a result, if there's one place you're willing to spend a bit of money on your setup this year, I would recommend you do so in the golf watch world. I've reviewed several for TechRadar, including a number of the below from entry-level bangers to premium-level brilliance, and cannot recommend them more.
