Back in 2023, I called the Garmin Forerunner 265 'officially the best running watch for most people'. Three years later, it's still an outstanding pick, and what's more, you can find the smaller Garmin Forerunner 265s discounted from $449.99 down to just $336.93 on Amazon, exactly 25% off.
This deal is on the smaller 's' watch in its Black and Amp Yellow, and White, Pink, and Powder Gray colors. It's got 8GB of onboard storage, up to 15 days of battery life, and Garmin's usual suite of excellent fitness features, allowing you to plan training sessions and monitor recovery.
It's slimmer than most Garmin watches, too, so it doesn't stand out under a shirt or in the office. If you're looking for something a little bigger, the larger 46mm version is available at a smaller 16% discount. Check out both deals below!
Today's best Garmin Forerunner 265s deal
Save a hefty 25% on the Garmin Forerunner 265S, a light AMOLED watch with up to 15 days of battery life, a Training Readiness score, Garmin's comprehensive suite of recovery metrics and loads of great running tools. I personally used this to run my first marathon in 2023, and it's still an excellent choice today at this price.
Garmin Forerunner 265 (46mm): was $449.99 now $379.99 at Amazon
As a man with average-sized wrists, I found the Garmin Forerunner 265S ideally sized, which means it'll suit most men and women looking for a cut-price yet high-quality running watch.
During 2023's Brighton Marathon, I used the watch's virtual pacing feature to ensure I stayed on pace to hit my goal (well, as much as possible, as I was five minutes too slow due to a pit-stop around mile 12). I used it to monitor my heart rate zones, relaxing my effort a little based on whether I was cresting from the orange zone into the red, strenuous effort territory. During training, I used it to monitor my recovery, helping me to tailor my plan so I was race-ready in time for my long runs.
It's a really useful tool, and while there are plenty of newer watches out there, I have a big fondness for this one. At 25% off, I recommend it to everyone except hardcore adventurers who may be better served with a Garmin Fenix 8.
