This PS5 deal is making me consider selling my own console to buy this Spider-Man bundle
Even though there are other, better-value bundles going...
We're seeing some serious savings on Sony's home console thanks to all the Black Friday PS5 deals starting to roll as part of the Black Friday gaming deals. While it's a fantastic time to purchase a PS5 anyway, one bundle in particular has me contemplating selling the console I already own for this special edition.
I bought my PS5 earlier this year after waiting for it to drop in price, and while I did manage to snag it for cheaper than retail price, I didn't think about purchasing any sort of bundle - so ended up having to splash out some additional cash for some of the best PS5 games. Now I wish I'd waited before jumping the gun and buying my console. For example, a bundle of the PS5 console and EA Sports FC 24 is available for only £399.99 at Argos, as opposed to its standard over £400 tag.
But among the UK's Black Friday PS5 offers right now, you can purchase the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition console with the matching DualSense controller for only £439.99 at PlayStation Direct. Reduced from its original price of £569.99, you're saving an incredible £130, which is more than enough to buy yourself some additional games for the system, or a decently sized storage card as well thanks to all the Black Friday PS5 SSD deals we are starting to see too.
However, while US shoppers can't get that limited edition one, you can pick up the PS5 and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 bundle available for $499.99 at BestBuy, knocking $50 off its retail price and making it just as worthwhile to consider, or if you're looking to get your hands on the newest console release, a bundle combining the PS5 Slim and Modern Warfare 3 is available for only $499.99 at BestBuy too. Either way, you'll be making a saving and getting a fantastic new console.
