It's been an exciting few months for Apple AirPods with the launch of the Apple AirPods Pro in October 2019, which means Cyber Monday 2020 will bring us some deals on the Apple AirPods – both old and new.
Although there may be a few months to go before sale season kicks off, we're here to bring you a guide to everything to expect from the AirPod Cyber Monday 2020 deals based on the best sale prices from last year – and all the latest developments.
We already know the volume of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals will continue to increase in 2020. After all, 2019 saw a near-20% rise in traffic for people shopping for discounts over the period, according to stats from Adobe Analytics.
The Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are certainly the hottest times of the year for potential discounts and this could be the best year for AirPods yet.
Last year we saw some decent savings on the Apple AirPods with the 2019 version dropping to $169.99 at BestBuy in the US and £138 at Currys in the UK. Even the new AirPods Pro had discounts at last year's Cyber Monday event too.
So what does this tell us for Cyber Monday 2020? Well, now that the AirPods Pro are here – and proving to be a huge hit – we can expect bigger discounts on the 2019 version of the AirPods. Although they don't have noise-cancelling tech built-in like the Pro versions, they're still a great pair of buds.
Of course, the AirPods Pro will still be discounted. But we can't guarantee the savings will be as great or that they'll last very long. After all, if there's one thing we've learned from last year's Apple AirPods Cyber Monday deals it's that they often sell out. A number of retailers completely sold out of Apple AirPods last year when the prices dropped, so act fast when you spot a bargain.
Here are some ways to make sure you're set for the best Cyber Monday 2020 Apple AirPods sales, including a rundown of last year's best deals.

When is Cyber Monday 2020?
When is Cyber Monday 2020? And what is it?
This year, Cyber Monday 2020 will fall on November 30, 2020. Even though it's still far away, we know when it will be because Black Friday falls on the Friday immediately after the US Thanksgiving holiday and Cyber Monday falls on the Monday after that.
Although it's worth pointing out that many retailers, like Currys in the UK, don't just limit sales to Black Friday or Cyber Monday. For example, the Currys Black Tag Event started at the beginning of the Black Friday week and ran into the following week through to Cyber Monday too – with some deals carrying across, and new ones being added in each period.
We expect Currys to do the same in 2020, as well as other major retailers that kick their deals off earlier than expected – and keep them going after Cyber Monday has come and gone.
