It's not always easy to find a MacBook Air, even an older 2025 model, for a discount at a reputable retailer. However, for the Amazon Big Spring Sale, you can get the Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (M4) for its lowest price yet of $949 (was $1,199).

This price is only available in the sky blue color with 16GB Unified Memory, but you also get a 512GB SSD, which is double the storage of the standard model. That makes this deal even sweeter, especially as 256GB of storage is a bit weak in 2026.

The Apple MacBook Air M4 is old news when it comes to the new M5 model, but that doesn't mean it's any less powerful than it was last year. For its lowest price yet, you can get double the storage of the base model and still pay less than $1,000. That's a 512GB SSD with 16GB RAM, the M4 chip, and over 14 hours of battery life in a slim, 13-inch premium laptop. It doesn't hurt that the MacBook Air looks good both inside (on screen) and out (that matte sheen).

You can already buy the MacBook Air M5, but that doesn't mean you need to if you want a powerful laptop. The MacBook Air M4 was our 2025 laptop of the year for a reason, and it's not going out of style anytime soon.

We gave it 4.5 out of five stars in our MacBook Air M4 review for its "top-notch performance, design, all-day battery life," and affordability on top of all that. Even with the mixed bag that is Apple Intelligence, it doesn't distract from its technical strengths.

If you want a more detailed breakdown between the MacBook Air M4 versus the M5, we have an article comparing the two and advising which one you should buy during the Amazon Spring Sale. We also have a dedicated Mac Buyer's Guide that tells you the strengths and weaknesses of our best Apple laptops.
