The best Bluetooth speakers come in all shapes and sizes, but very few are as cheap as this Anker Soundcore 2 at Amazon for £24.98 (was £39.99). That's a record-low price — and so low that you might want to consider getting a pair of them.
More expensive alternatives deliver superior audio quality, but if you're happy with reasonable sound, a respectable 24-hour battery life, rugged build quality, and water resistance, then the Soundcore 2 is a super affordable option.
Today's best cheap speaker deal
At such a low price, you'd think you'd be settling for poor sound quality and a measly set of features. Think again. The Soundcore 2 has a lot going for it, including good audio, a spiral bass port, and IPX7 waterproofing. At under £25, this is an absolute steal.
In our Anker Soundcore 2 review, we said it would be difficult to find a better speaker for under £50. Well, now it's even better value at this super-low £24.98 price tag. It might not sound as good as what Bose and JBL have to offer, but we think it offers enough quality for most people — especially at this price.
We love its IPX7 rating and rugged body, which means it can handle a quick dip in either the swimming pool or the paddling pool. This is a speaker that you can put anywhere and not worry about it getting exposed to water.
As well as its rugged qualities, one of the speaker's biggest selling points is its outstanding 24-hour battery life, which means you won't need to recharge it very often at all. And when you do, it's easily charged via USB-C.
This might be the best deal around for a speaker of this kind, but that doesn't mean it's your only option. If you'd prefer something more premium and better sound quality, then have a browse of our guide to the best Bluetooth speakers.
