Remember the days when wireless earbuds cost a fortune? Those days are truly in the distant past. Right now, you can buy the JLab Go Air Pop at Amazon for £14.99 (was £24.99) — and they’re genuinely good earbuds for the price.

You can’t get much cheaper than the JLab Go Air Pop — they’re ideal as a backup pair of earbuds or if you’re simply on a very tight budget. They promise crystal clear audio and neat EQ modes that can be changed at the tap of the bud. They also work independently for those times you need them to.

The JLab Go Air Pop covers all the basics you could need from a pair of cheap but capable earbuds. The case is super small, each bud has 8mm neodymium drivers, and you get good sound for the price. There’s also an impressive battery life of eight hours per earbud, too, with an extra 24 hours via the charging case.

Our JLab Go Air Pop review called them “ridiculously good wireless earbuds for under $25/£25,” so obviously they’re even better value right now. Admittedly, they aren’t “the last word in sonic brilliance,” but you still get "reliable Bluetooth connectivity, killer battery life, comfortable and light earpieces and solid music on the go.”

One of the top choices among the best budget earbuds, the JLab Go Air Pop are dependable. If you just want a cheap pair for the gym or for walks, they’ll do the job well. They may not be the truly best wireless earbuds, as you can’t expect premium sound quality or ANC at such a low price, but that’s not always needed.

These are the earbuds you can easily toss in your gym bag or your pocket, thanks to the case being smaller than a credit card, and you still get extensive battery life.

If your budget can stretch further, there are some good AirPods Pro deals happening. Buying the best earbuds will cost a lot more but if you want to invest, it’s worth taking a look.
