The best noise-cancelling earbuds don't have to cost the earth, as evidenced by this deal that drops the Nothing Ear (a) at Amazon to £69 (was £89). This £20 discount on our favourite pair of budget buds not only sees them drop to an all-time low price, but also makes them more affordable than they already were.

Never heard of Nothing? Don't let that put you off. In recent years, Nothing has quickly become the go-to company for those who value quality, authenticity and a unique design at a great price.

These buds, in particular, rank very highly in our guide to the best earbuds thanks to outstanding active noise cancellation, hi-res audio support, and an impressive battery life of over 40 hours. That's why I'd snap them up while you can for under £70.

Nothing Ear (a) Wireless Earbuds: was £89 now £69 at Amazon

You'll be hard-pressed to find a pair of earbuds that perform better at this price point. With powerful active noise cancellation, an excellent level of bass, and a rich set of features, the Nothing Ear (a) punch well above their weight. If you love a bargain and like the look of the unique design, this is a deal to jump on while our favourite budget buds are at their lowest-ever price.

If we rate a product a full five stars, then you can view that as a TechRadar seal of approval. That's exactly what our audio editor, Becky Scarrott, awarded them in our Nothing Ear (a) review.

Her verdict was that the earbuds delivered “meaningful noise cancellation, superb sound quality for the level, comfort, and longer battery life”. If you still aren't convinced, she went on to say they serve up “fun, zealous, expansive sound” with “strong noise cancellation” and some impressive personalisation features.

The positives continue with 42.5 hours of battery life via the charging case, with 10 hours from one charge when ANC is switched off. That means you'll be going several days or even a week between charges.

Nothing products are not for everyone. If you'd rather stick with a familiar brand, then we'd recommend our AirPods deals page instead. Alternatively, if it's an over-ear solution you're looking for, check out the Bose headphone deals available right now.
