One of the joys of working from home is the ability to personalize your space, and IKEA's latest collection of home office lighting and accessories will add a touch of luxury to make you feel inspired and invigorated. February's key colors are slate blue and brass – smart hues that pair perfectly to create a luxurious look for surprisingly little cash.
As one of TechRadar's Homes Editors, I love using lighting to add ambience to a room, and IKEA has some excellent options if you're looking for an easy way to incorporate these two striking colors. The Trettioen Pendant Lamp is a striking centerpiece for your ceiling with an industrial edge, and would be a perfect partner for the Tertial Work Lamp, which will supply task lighting to your desk. For some warmth, fit the Molnart LED Bulb in a table lamp, and position it in a corner for a wash of golden light.
Updating your storage accessories is a particularly effective and affordable way to bring your home office up to date. The Uppdatera Box and Skädis Container will add a splash of muted blue to your desk for under $10, while the brass-toned Kallax Wire Basket provides a classy home for your paperwork.
Read on for more of my top home office picks, and if you're thinking about updating your lighting, make sure to take a look at my complete roundup of the best smart lights for lots of versatile and adaptable bulbs and lamps.
