Although we haven't tested this specific vacuum, it boasts many of the same features that we like so much in other Shark uprights, including a bin section that can be removed and held in the hand for more flexibility.

This is Dyson's V15 vacuum (which is packed with tech and excellent at cleaning) with a mopping floorhead bundled in. In our Dyson V15s Detect Submarine review, my teammate praised the versatility and commented that the mop head is great for small cleanups.

It's not specifically a floorcare gadget, but this cordless spot cleaner could be a key part of your cleaning arsenal. The StainForce is a newer release from Shark, and can be used to tackle the nastiest spills on your carpets and furniture, without leaving any unnecessary moisture.

While a $30 discount isn't that impressive, it's better than nothing. This Shark steam cleaner is designed to mop away dried-on stains, wipe up spills, and sanitize your hard floors with steam.

The V8 is almost half price in Dyson's early Black Friday sale, with $290 off the ticket price. This model is a classic within the Dyson range, offering a simple but effective design. In this kind of price range, it's also worth checking out the V9 Motorbar, which has stronger specs. This deal is also available at Walmart.

The Gen5detect is one of Dyson's newest and most advanced vacuums, and it's had a $250 price cut in the early Black Friday sales. If you aren't in a hurry, I'd hold tight on this one – I suspect we'll see some bigger discounts later. This vacuum boasts ultra-long battery life and advanced dirt detection capabilities.

The Gen5outsize has had a $300 price cut for Black Friday, taking it to very nearly the cheapest price I've seen. It's the same as the Gen5detect but scaled up, for larger homes, with a larger dust cup and wider floorhead. You'll still get hi-tech features, including real-time dust reports and automatic suction adjustment.

This is an extremely good price for the Stratos Cordless, and very nearly the cheapest it has ever been. This is an older Shark vacuum, and while it might not have advanced features like dirt detection, it packs a real punch when it comes to suction power. It's worth considering if you're looking for a cordless vacuum for pet hair or lots of carpet.

Head to Very for nearly £60 off the SteamPickup hard floor cleaner – that's the lowest ever price on this floor cleaner. It combines steam, mop scrubbing, and suction to clean, remove stains and debris, and sanitize your floors.

There's over £100 off the V8 at Amazon, taking it to very nearly the cheapest-ever price. This is the oldest model in the Dyson lineup, but remains ultra-popular. It's simple but effective, with strong suction and great maneuverability. This Advanced version has more suction than the original V8.

With nearly £90 off, the PowerPro cordless is down to a new lowest-ever price. Although I haven't used this specific vacuum myself, it looks like a very solid choice – it uses Shark's effective DirtDetect technology for automatic suction adjustment, has a very decent maximum runtime of 50 minutes, and you can release the wand to bend forward for easy vacuuming under furniture.

The best price drop is on the V15 with 8 attachments – toggle through to see it. This vacuum is a little pricier than it was a few days ago, so if you're not in a hurry, then it's worth sitting tight and seeing if it falls back to its lowest price of £449.95. The V15 is probably the model I'd recommend to most people, because it balances cool, hi-tech features with a user-friendly design and, of course, excellent cleaning.

The V10 is at its lowest-ever price of £279.99. This model was never a flagship and can be overlooked, but with this discount, it's well worth checking out. There's no LCD screen for info, but the runtimes are strong and the suction is good.

The Shark PowerDetect robovac is half price in the early Black Friday sales – that's a new lowest-ever price. There's a base that auto-empties dust and refills the robot's water tanks. In our Shark PowerDetect robot vacuum review, my tester was impressed with the intuitive app and strong obstacle avoidance, although she did find the mopping a little wetter than she'd like.
