Samsung has been on a smartphone launching spree since the beginning of 2022. The company launched a wide range of budget, mid-range, and flagship segment smartphones in India. Just a few days ago, Samsung announced the Galaxy A33 5G in India. In a recent development, the pricing of the smartphone has been leaked online.

A report by 91Mobiles, quoting tipster Sudhanshu, suggested that the 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone with 128GB internal storage will be priced around Rs 28,499. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM variant of the device with 128GB internal storage may be available for Rs 29,999.

One thing to keep in mind is that this is not the official pricing of the smartphone. So, changes in pricing can be witnessed at the time of the first sale of the device.

What's the competition?

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is powered by a Samsung Exynos 1280 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Considering the expected price point of the smartphone, we can expect it to compete with devices under Rs 30,000. The closest competitor of the smartphone is another offering by Samsung, the Galaxy M52 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 processor. Now, it is a fact that the Snapdragon 778G SoC is around 30% better in terms of performance as compared to the Exynos 1280 SoC. Moreover, smartphones like Realme GT Master Edition and others will also have an upper hand over the latest offering by Samsung.
