OnePlus recently dropped the OnePlus 10 Pro flagship device in the Indian and global markets. Meanwhile, rumours regarding the launch of a sub-Rs 20,000 OnePlus phone, possibly the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, have been doing the rounds.
A recent report by MySmartPrice said that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G has appeared on the TDRA certification website. Previously, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G was launched in India in February 2022. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. Furthermore, the smartphone also has a 50MP primary shooter too.
In simple terms, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is going to be a downgraded version of Nord CE 2 5G. The smartphone carries model number CPH2409 as per the TDRA listing. However, the BIS listing of the smartphone suggests that it will have CPH2401 model number.
On the other hand, the smartphone carrying CPH2409 has been spotted on the CameraFV5 website. According to the listing, the smartphone will carry a 64MP primary snapper and a 16MP pixel-binned lens
What can we expect?
According to the previous leaks, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. Smartphones like Vivo T1 5G and iQoo Z6 will face direct competition from the upcoming OnePlus device. The smartphone will most probably get two RAM variants including 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM paired with 128GB internal storage.
The smartphone could feature a 6.58-inch FHD+ display paired with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone might operate on Oxygen OS 12 based on the Android 12 operating system. We can see a 5000mAh battery supported by 33W fast charging.
In the camera department, a triple rear camera setup is expected comprising of a 64MP primary shooter, 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the device could get a 16MP sensor.
