My go-to floor cleaner from Dyson has had $200 mopped off its price tag for Black Friday
The WashG1 is nimble, effective, and gets right into the corners
The DysonWashG1 takes all the hard work out of mopping your floors, and it's currently $569.99 at Dyson (was $769.99). Discounts on this appliance are rare, and well worth snapping up when they do appear.
This is Dyson's only dedicated wet cleaner, and it delivers a triple-pronged attack of hydration, agitation and separation to get your hard floors clean. Or to put it a simpler way, it applies water, gently but effectively scrubs away any dirt, and separates solid and liquid waste to make maintenance ultra-straightforward.
I've been using the WashG1 once or twice a week on my concrete floors for well over a year, and am consistently impressed with how effectively it cleans, with how little effort. Read on to learn more about this offer, and why it's one of the best Black Friday floorcare deals of the year.
Today's best Dyson WashG1 deal
Discounts don't crop up too often on Dyson's wet cleaner, and this $200 price-drop is worth taking advantage of. It's not quite the cheapest ever, but a strong discount in the context of current pricing. The WashG1 is lightweight, very easy to maneuver, and comes with a compact dock that can be tucked out of the way.
There are a few areas where the WashG1 particularly excels.
The first is in how nimble it is. Like the best Dyson vacuums, this cleaner is extremely easy to maneuver. It pivots smoothly, and is light in the hand – especially notable because some wet-dry vacuums can feel cumbersome. The rollers go from edge-to-edge, so you can get right up to your baseboards without leaving an un-mopped margin.
The second is how easy it is to maintain. Don't underestimate this – it's no good having a cleaner that takes the effort out of mopping, only to add a whole load of new messy maintenance tasks to your chores list. The WashG1 separates solid and liquid waste, for straightforward disposal into the trash/sink. Both water tanks are big enough to get your hand right in for a thorough wipe-down, and don't have any awkward corners where grime could build up. Head to my Dyson WashG1 review to learn more.
The WashG1 is just for hard flooring, and there's no suction (if that's a deal-breaker, head to my roundup of the best wet-dry vacuums for some alternatives.
If you want a more versatile cleaner, it's worth noting the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine is also heavily discounted for Black Friday. This is essentially a Dyson vacuum with a mop floorhead that can be swapped on.
With $250 off for Black Friday, this 2-in-1 vacuum and mop is at its lowest ever price. You'll get all the hi-tech features of the regular V15 vacuum (automatic dirt detection and suction adjustment; a floorhead with a laser to illuminate hidden dust) but also a mopping head so it can take care of your hard floors too.
