It’s also the lowest price we’ve ever seen this particular laptop go for. Anyone in the market for a Windows laptop with touchscreen capabilities will want to pay attention, as it’s not every day that you can get that kind of power for under $300.

The HP Laptop 15 comes with a 15.6-inch touchscreen display for immersive interaction with your content. It's also got a super-speedy 512GB NVMe storage drive, 8GB of memory, and an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U chip. Its price has been slashed by $100, bringing it down to just $399.99.

What do you get for your very reasonable outlay? There is, of course, that touchscreen display, which comes in an expansive 15.6-inch size that should be plenty big enough for all your content. It’s powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U chip and 8GB of memory, while there’s also a decent-sized 512GB SSD to store your apps and documents. It’s not going to break any performance records, but it’s an excellent option for anyone who needs a straightforward machine for internet browsing and other tasks.

That said, this isn’t a sluggish laptop by any means. That 512GB storage drive is an NVMe SSD, which means it’s blazing fast and far quicker than a standard 2.5-inch SSD or an eMMC drive. The laptop can also run Microsoft’s powerful Copilot artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, giving you a handy way to tap into the machine-learning model’s brain and all the advanced capabilities that come with it.

That means this laptop is definitely worth your time if you’re after an affordable portable computer that can still offer up a few surprises.
