Save a whopping $550 on an HP Omen 16 with an RTX 5050 – plus get Battlefield 6 for free

Need a new gaming laptop? Or maybe you want to start PC gaming, but also need a regular laptop for school or work? Right now, you can do just that with the HP Omen 16 at Walmart for $849 (was $1,399).
The HP Omen 16 isn't the most powerful gaming laptop out there, but it's one of the best deals right now in terms of value for money. It offers 16GB RAM (with the option to upgrade) and a 1TB SSD, enough for multitasking without lag and storing plenty of games without worrying about space. This model even has an RTX 5050, an entry-level but capable graphics card from Nvidia's latest GPU series.
You can also get Battlefield 6 for free as part of Intel's latest push to convince PC gamers to play.
Today's best HP gaming laptop deal
The HP Omen 16 Slim Gaming Laptop is on sale for less than $850, a price that's hard to ignore for a gaming laptop with a recent CPU, RTX 5050, 1TB SSD, and 16GB RAM. That's good enough to play most games in medium-to-high settings in 1080p. We praised this particular laptop line for its performance, comfortable keyboard, and cooling system in the past. For a limited time, it also comes with Battlefield 6 and three months of Xbox Game Pass for free.
We haven't tested this latest model, but considering the performance we saw in our HP Omen 16 review with an RTX 4070, it should only get better from there. Other strengths included the "comfortable keyboard" and "highly effective cooling." I wouldn't trust the "all day" battery life claim, but it should still have enough for a few hours of uninterrupted gameplay.
Again, this HP Omen 16 Slim comes with a free copy of Battlefield 6 and three months of Xbox Game Pass. Just be sure to complete the Purchase Verification process before September 30 and redeem your offer for Battlefield 6 before October 31. Note: Battlefield 6 launches on October 10, 2025, so you won't be able to play it until then, even if you complete the verification early.
