Need more space and speed for your games? Here are the best Cyber Monday deals on the best SSDs for PC gaming
The Black Friday sales have morphed into Cyber Monday deals, and they might be your last chance to save big on SSDs for a while.
As a keen PC gamer, I know how important it is to have a fast and capacious SSD, which is why I've selected what I think are the best deals on the best SSD options for PC gamers.
Top picks include various models in Samsung's ever-popular series of NVMe sticks: for instance, the Samsung 9100 Pro is now $208.99 at Amazon (was $299.99). Meanwhile, for something a lot more capacious, the Crucial T710 4TB is now $399.99 (was $569.99) at Amazon.
In the UK, it looks as if you'll be rewarded for pushing the boat out a little: the MSI Spatium M570 Pro Frozor is now £169.99 (was £267.99) at Amazon, while the external WD_Black D50 Game Dock 2TB is now £189.99 at SanDisk, which represents a huge reduction of £419.

We think this is one of the best PC gaming SSDs around right now, thanks in no small part to its blistering read and write speeds. It uses the latest PCIe Gen5 protocol, which should help to allay any future-proofing concerns, while the 1TB of storage is should suffice for a reasonable library of games.

If you require a lot more space than the usual 1TB, try this 4TB model from Crucial. With its integrated heatsink and PCIe Gen5 support, it should prove more than proficient for high-end PC gaming. 1TB and 2TB variants are also on sale, but the 4TB model has the best deal at the moment.

Samsung's NVMe SSD range is a fan favorite, and for good reason. With fast, solid performance, they offer everything a gamer needs. This one may employ the older PCIe Gen4 standard, but as we noted in our Samsung 990 Pro review, it pushes Gen4 to its limits very well. The 1TB and 4TB models are also on offer, but the 2TB model looks to be the best deal right now.

Another Samsung model, but this one includes a heatsink in its deal. The non-heatsink variant is also on sale, as are variants with greater capacities. This deal applies to the 2TB version with a heatsink.

In the UK, it's the 2TB, heatsink-less variant of the T710 that seems to be getting the best deal. It still features the latest PCIe Gen5 standard, as well as fast read and write speeds. The 4TB heatsink-less model is on sale at Amazon with a decent saving as well.

Granted, it's large heat sink might be a tight fit for certain rigs, but if yours can accommodate it, the deal on this MSI Spatium M570 Pro Frozor looks very tempting. It should stay cool even under heavy workloads, while the 2TB of storage and PCIe Gen5 technology should keep it relevant for a while.
