More DJI Mini 5 Pro leaks suggest it will be the drone to beat this year, with longer flight time and pro-friendly video quality
More details about key accessories for DJI's ultralight drone have emerged

- Standard and Plus battery capacities apparently revealed
- ND filter set and three-battery charging hub also spotted
- DJI Mini 5 Pro is expected to officially launch in September
As the long-rumored DJI Mini 5 Pro nears its purported official launch, yet more leaked images of the ultralight camera drone have emerged.
This week, reliable tipster Igor Bogdanov posted a new image of the Mini 5 Pro and some of its accessories on X (formerly Twitter). We’ve seen pictures of the drone before – quite a few in fact – but these are our first glimpses of a three-battery charging hub and ND filter set.

While neither of these accessories are big surprises (both have been available for previous DJI drones), the availability of ND filters at launch will reassure potential Mini 5 Pro buyers that DJI is serious about delivering the best image quality for the drone. Many drone photographers and videographers consider ND filters an essential part of their setup, particularly when shooting in bright daytime conditions.
Bogdanov’s post also adds further support to previous suggestions of both standard and “Plus” battery options for the drone. The higher-capacity Plus batteries will reportedly offer up to 52 minutes of flight time on a full charge – presumably at a weight cost that will push the Mini 5 Pro into the above-250g category, and therefore subject to more restrictions.
We suspect, then, that despite the Plus option’s existence, most buyers will opt for the lighter standard battery options. Previous online rumors have suggested these will offer 36 minutes of flight time, which is quite impressive in itself.
Specs spotted
Following on from this image leak, Jasper Ellens (another trusted drone news tipster) chimed in with new information about the specific capacities for the DJI Mini 5 Pro’s two battery options.
Posting an image of the batteries side by side at DroneXL, Ellens stated that the Mini 5 Pro’s standard battery will offer a 2,785mAh capacity (a small increase on the Mini 4 Pro battery’s 2,590mAh), while the Plus battery will offer 3,350mAh. Despite that being a slight decrease on the Mini 4 Pro Plus battery’s 3,850mAh, the Mini 5 Pro Plus battery’s 52-minute life is 15% higher.
