Just a quick PSA, folks. The Amazon Big Spring Sale is finally drawing to a close tonight, so it could be your last chance to get the fantastic DJI Mini 4K drone for a record-low price of just $269 (was $389).

Today's best deal is for the mid-tier battery combo, which includes a handy shoulder bag and two spare batteries for extra flight time. You can opt for the standalone drone for just $209 (was $299), but that's been cheaper on a few occasions — and we'd recommend the combo anyway, since it's better value than buying extra batteries separately.

The only downside we can think of at this price is that this model doesn't include obstacle avoidance, so it’s worth flying with a bit of extra care. With that said, it's still very beginner-friendly thanks to the DJI Fly app, which offers features like one-tap takeoff and automatic return-to-home.

The excellent DJI Mini 4K has just hit its lowest ever price over at Amazon, giving beginner drone pilots the perfect opportunity to pick up one of our favorite models. Alongside excellent 4K footage, the Mini 4K also boasts 31 minutes of flight time, a useful 2x digital zoom, and a three-axis gimbal for smooth video capture. Today's best deal is for the 'Drone combo', which gets you an included shoulder bag and two extra batteries for longer flight times.

A great choice for beginners this week

The DJI Mini 4K is still a great choice — even after the 2025 ban on new drones imported from overseas. Because it's a slightly older model, it's still widely stocked at several retailers. The only restriction here is that the DJI app is no longer supported on Google Play, so you'll need to visit the DJI website directly to download it.

Otherwise, you're pretty much good to go with the DJI Mini 4K. Since it's under the 249-gram breakpoint for federal registration, you can fly the drone right out of the box without needing to register it anywhere. Of course, make sure you're still up to speed with any local restrictions and fly responsibly!
