TOMS Apple Watch bands make your wrist look cool for a cause

The philanthropic shoemaker now adorns your smartwatch

TOMS, the fashion supplier that made its name on giving back to those in need with each product purchased, is adding the Apple Watch to its repertoire.

You can now choose from 10 new Apple Watch wristbands exclusive from TOMS – with a charitable donation included with each purchase – for both the 38mm or 42mm variant of Apple's wearable.

Just like the Watch itself, the bands come in two varieties. The Utility Collection sports a durable grosgrain fabric, while the Artisan Collection features more intricate woven fabric patterns. Both bands also feature stainless steel and genuine leather detailing.

As for prices, the Utility Collection bands will set you back $50/£40 apiece, and the pricier Artisan bands run for $75/£65 a pop. Australian buyers can have any of the bands shipped to their country, and will be charged based on the US dollar price.

As is the case with TOMS' other products, buying one of its designer Apple Watch bands also allows the company to help the less fortunate.

Purchasing one of TOMS' Apple Watch accessories will also support SolarAid and Solar Sister, both of which help provide solar light to those without access to reliable light sources.

According to TOMS, a single band purchase will give one person in need access to solar light for an entire year, allowing them to continue studying and/or working after dark – making it one of the better splurges you could make this year in the name of fashion.
